They are well aware that any nuclear or similar attack on their part would result in the destruction not only of their established government but their status as a sovereign nation as well. Somebody seriously needs to do their research before making such baseless statements. These are the Persians who have countless centuries of history who have never allowed themselves to be invaded much alone allowed themselves to feel victimised. They’ve stood their ground after decades of sanctions and have emerged even stronger. Iran has also a much deeper and longer relationship/history with Russia and China than the US could possibly dream of.

If war is started with Iran then the rest of the world which includes us would be in serious trouble.

Not sure if you are aware, but Iraq wasn’t even destroyed in a matter of hours much alone Iran! Like I said, do your research so that at least you can contribute something based on an educated opinion.
