Hi Everyone,
It seems that Red Bull is trying to push the envelope even further with aditions in its' product Red Bull Cola. The drink has been banned in several regions of Germany when the health authority found traces of cocaine in the product. Red Bull say that the amount is so low that it won't affect the drinker. However, this leaves the question open of, if it serves no purpose, why use it? Also, why hasn't Red Bull been charged (if you pardon the pun) with pushing ilicit drugs? Or is cocaine legal in Germany? I think I remember a discussion, albeit not in this forum about excessive amounts of caffeine being put into these energy drinks, even going back to the nineteen seventies with Lucozade. What will they think of next? Best regards, Steve |
