The Great White Brotherhood?

Hi all

I'm looking for any and all information I can gather on "The Great White Brotherhood", also known as "The Brotherhood", "The White Lodge", "The Brotherhood of Light."

Any information would be most welcome, be it of a physical organisation or a conclave of 'ascended masters', or both, or neither. ANYTHING is the point I'm trying to make here
