As far as I know the tap water in Spain is very chlorinated so I would not advise that but mineral water (without gas) will do fine.
Eventually you can sterilize it by cooking.
But you don' need too big a supply so just take mineral water without bubbles and you'll be fine.
Otherwise you should be able to get demineralized in a car shop because it is also used for car batteries and in steam-irons.
It's all the same.
