when used correcly, the ego is your amigo. You can't live without it and as someone smarter than me said, why reinvent the wheel? The ego is grossly misunderstood and many are manipulated especially in new age philosophies ( as if the ones perpetuating this dont have one HAH) BUT its all due to the fact that we feel so guilty for having one, not our fault. Bring back the bicameral mind I say.
