No, I have not read it, but I know people who have. They said what is written about in the book, is what is happening today.

Yes, Wilde talks very fast. Apparently, he writes really fast too....has published 20 books.

To some extent. I think the author had put her finger on what's rotten philosophically in the system and how it would go wrong if allowed. She was a philosopher very good at storytelling. Good enough to afford this 1200 pages story. Few authors can sustain interest that long.
