This site has some info. Seems that in past days there has been a lot of seismic "happening" It might be that this is "common" or not...would need to ask an "expert"

http://vulcan.wr.usgs.gov/Volcanoes/...e_caldera.html

This is a map of the area with notations of quakes that have been significant. This caldera was formed almost 700,000 years ago at minimum according to US scientists.

anyone want to embed this for me please?

Thank you. Greece is not in the ring of fire. My mistake.

I hope they are right. If they are wrong, the karmic effect of preventing someone from preparing for an impending catastrophe might be severe.

I have been teach/thought/thought? that on average there are 1000 small scale earthquakes daily on Earth.

That the logarithm of the number of earthquakes is inversely proportional with magnitude....Thus we have, on average, one earthquake of magnitude 5 earthquake, every 10 magnitude 4, and every 100 magnitude 3 earthquakes.

If you like the math:

This is as far as the official science goes.

If there is anything that science does not tell us or anything like the possibility of an artificially induced earthquake...well than the probabilities of what might happen go to infinite.

Yes it's common to have earthquake swarms...BUT...over the last couple of years I've been watching this stuff everyday for a couple years with a USGS gadget on igoogle. The earthquakes have definitely increased in intensity and frequency....especially quakes is odd places like a 4.0 this week Oklahoma and the ring of fire is really getting active.

Today was very active all over the world and there were 8 5.0 on the southern half of the ring and one 5.0 in China, mostly in the ocean, the 6.0 in Guatemala, 3.8 Hawaii and about 4-5 2.0,3.0 and 4.0 quakes scattered around the ring. Then a huge swarm around the Mediterranean, Greece, Iraq, Yemen area...one int he Atlantic.

Last year we had numerous quakes in southern Calif. that broke water mains, when the normal is only 3-4 breaks a year. In the last week there have been several fairly significant quakes in the state, but nothing in comparison to Haiti.

I sense a build up of some sort and can't imagine that this activity is normal compared to 50 years ago and beyond for a few thousand years.

This information would suggest that the frequency of higher magnitude earthquakes contradicts that this is normal

The only paret of the US on the Ring Of Fire is Calif., Oregon, and Washington... ok, ok Alaska, too.

The rest of the nation is just a pull-toy, along for the ride.

You know there is an alternate explanation, besides the R.O.F.

The US is moving towards China at a rate varying between 1, and 4 inches per year.

Once they get us within range, they're going to invade!

Yes... "it's a commie plot"

I agree and second this 3000%. I am not one to hold onto "predictions" or anything of the sort. That said it has been in my mind (a long time) that come 2010 'something" significant will happen involving Yellowstone. Some "friends" who make their living studying such things also have voiced concern about the stability of this mighty volcano. It's worth keeping an eye on.. This is not to say anything is going to happen. The potential is there BUT we still have much influence on the outcome.

Inside I hope we all do as you've said Illuminate.

In light, of love

We do, and a very serious one. The Illuminati Elders are activating their omega bases...it is going to rock seriously and other phenomena if we do not help the planet stabilize

Cheers

The ring of fire consists of the entire Pacific Rim...quite apparent on the above link.
They all are also occuring in coastal areas.

Well I'll give ya a first hand report on yellowstone, I 'll be there in 2 weeks snowmobiling going on my 15th year. Usually don't go into the park but there are 600 miles of trails outside the park and then of course the wide open mountians full of powder. Sitting at 10,000 ft on a clear day on top of a mountain smoking a cigar and catching some rays looking a 100 miles in any direction. Gods gift at it's finest.

I do watch the quake site and they siad there should be ample warnings if anything was to take place there , the ground raises and lowers there on a regualr basis due to pressure.

there is something going on with the earth's magnetic field. The wales have changed their songs and are traveling further out to sea.

I've been having more headaches lately, plus I've been getting that sensation you get when you walk under numerous power lines or by a transformer station more often.
