It is as Morguana said. It's merely where they put together two photos of the same terrain that just have different lighting. The line is straight from top to bottom and the same lighting difference is seen in the surface as well.

Actually no, I'm not kidding. If you look at the full image and not the one you have conveniently cropped, the lines run up and down the entire image, at equal intervals. The differences are noticed at every seam. I am a trained graphic designer and assure you that is all this is.
Besides, if they wanted to hide something, I think they would do a better job of it so that it didnt look obvious. Anyone with any skill whatsoever in photoshop could could black out that crater much smoother than this. |
