I'm a big fan and proponent of local honey as the bee uses the local pollen....same stuff you breathe in!

Did you know honey doesn't go off.
They found it in tombs in Egypt and it's still ok to eat ![]() |

Honey ferments like grains and fruit. It turns into Mead and is thought to be the first intoxicant after mushrooms. See Terrence McKenna videos for more information. http://video.google.com/videosearch?...8&sa=N&tab=wv#
He hypothesed that early cultures used group sex and group dynamics to the benefit of the community much like Project Avalon. He speculated based on his research that when Mead was discovered it changed the dynamic from group to individual creating the societal problems we face today. if we rediscover the benefits of group community living we can all enrich our lives by the sheer number sharing their knowledge and experience. I believe Terrence wanted people to explore for themselves the benefits of psylicyben and other hallucinogenics but I think the same benefits can be achieved through meditation. The community is what we really need to bring together now as people appear open to each other as felt and seen at the inauguration- it was a very illuminating moment. I hope the sentiment carries throughout the year despite predictions to the opposite. Namaste ![]() Last edited by babcha; 01-26-2009 at 11:27 PM. |
