Sorry futureyes I should have explained - you see, my glasses keep sliding down my nose so I have elastic to hold them on. (the glasses - not my nose.) Some things I look at make my eyes pop out and before I know it, the elastic loses its grip then I lose mine.

No don't do that futureyes, fruity drinks are the elixir of life. They let you see the world through rose-tinted glasses. Just make sure the umbrelly things don't get up your nose. If they do, your eyes water and the world gets all distorted.

Which is probably why the world's in the state it is. Too many umbrellies up too many schnozzles.

Hey folks, this place is starting to slip again. Ever since Dan found the Avalon Library, he's been spending far too much time with his nose in a book and the bar has been closed. There are a few cockroaches around and I think we should get rid of them with a bit of a gathering, a few drinks, and some laughter.

So, we'll crank up the Avalon Time Machine once more, load it with the makings of some fruity drinks, umbrellies, and a bit of the hard stuff, then we'll head back to 1945 when humor was still funny and clean.

Hop aboard, tighten your seat belts and hang on. We're going to be entertained by those leaders of zany fun and games, Spike Jones and The City Slickers.

Okay futureyes, you're on. Let's head for that one in the back over by the window. Better look under it first just in case there's someone left over from the last function held here. I know there were a couple of occasions that I spent the night under a table. Boy, those were the good old days. The crowd was so noisy you couldn't hear yourself drink er, I mean think.

I see the bar still isn't open, maybe Dan's under a table somewhere. Lets check - you start in that corner, and I'll start from that one over there. We'll meet back here and start thing rolling.

Or maybe, futureyes, BOTH OF THEM. We'll have to get him out of there before he's a poor pitiful wreck of the man he used to be.

I know what it can be like - been there done that. Those library tables are sooooo long that he could lay there under them for days.

futureyes! I've had a horrible thought! What if Dan's been overpowered by some robotic woman librarian like this one.

I'm here, I like that Jacob kid and I see that he's had over 10 million views on that video, yet if he was on Johnny Carson then he's not a kid any more,Spike Jones and the City Slickers are ok too, Oh I wasn't in the library, actually I was making a big bowl full of strawberry shortcake with whipped cream on top!, yummy, and that's after making stuffed peppers loaded with meatballs, mozzarella, and spaghetti sauce! phew, I'm full now!

Hey everybody. How's it hanging?
I have to announce that I have a date with futureyes and I thought I'd shout it out aloud.

Hmmm... Maybe she doesn't want me to let anyone know we have a date. She might be too embarrassed to be seen with me.
I've got two Gold passes for the movies at the Avalon Movie House. Futureyes insisted we go and see a porno movie, but I had to restrain her and tell her its not the appropriate thing to do on the first date.
Hey barkeep, I'd like to have a jellybean while I wait for futureyes to turn up.
I hope she doesn't stand me up. She still might be a tad peeved I wouldn't agree to a porno movie.
Not sure what we'll watch though. Perhaps Rocky X, First Blood 7 or Die Hard: With a boner V. I'll see what futureyes wants to see. I hope she doesn't pester me about the porno though.
Please take care all and I'll let you's all know how the movie went.
Love and peace to all.
Best regards always,
John

hey hey hey ... i go out for a swim and wham ... i come back and have to defend me self ...

hi relayer ...

let me straighten this out for others ...

you asked me on a date to the "movies" ... that we'd stop in at the lounge for a fruity drink ... watch me nose with the umbrellie ...

you failed to mention anything about "porn" ...

we turtles ... we just stay away from all of that ya know ...

funny relayer ... perhaps we'll just spend some time here instead ...

i'll have one of 'em jellybeans ... turtles like colorful drinks ... too small to place an umbrellie in it?

now i'm going to do story time ... like brinty does ...

here we go ...

once visiting the glorious island of hawaii ... oahu i believe it was ... went on one of 'em submarine rides ...

i know ... silly for a turtle to do but what they hey ... see life from a different perspective ...

ok ... so the crew were very intense about people moving around whilst we we submerged a hundred feet below ... they said ... NO CHANGING SEATS cos it creates an imbalance in the ship and that's not a good thing ...

we're floating around the bottom ... observing all my friends through these little windows ... when suddenly a young lad proclaims loudly ... "hey dad ... there's a hooker out there ... "

WELL ... pretty much every male got up and either stretched over to look or walked over to see ... the hooker in the depths of the ocean ...

the crew went balistic screaming at these men ... ordering them back to their seats meanwhile the sub starts going down sideways ... panic amongst the rest of the lot ... children crying ...

funniest dang thing i had witnessed in a while ...

know what the hooker was?

the little boy thought an old rusted anchor buried in the sea was ... a hooker ...

anyway ...

what men will do at times ...

where's that jellybean with the umbrellie ... where's relayer ...

as i recall though ... dan's librarian did have blonde hair ... longer ... perhaps she got it cut ... hmmm ...

scary ...

i'm starting to believe dan's just not a terrific bartender ... that he's also a superb cook as well ... strawberry shortcake and stuffed peppers with all the adjectives to go with that ... nummy!

Now, if you want proof of reincarnation, take a look at this seven year old kid Jacob Armen, on drums. I swear that no child could learn to drum like this in seven years.

What's your impression Dan?

Okay everybody, let's turn the lights down low in the lounge, but keep the spotlight on the stage. Now, can we please have a little bit of hush as we welcome, all the way from Mexico, Rodrigo y Gabriela as they bring us their rendition of Stairway to Heaven.
