What have you done/are doing to prepare this month
We hung our new Kosmos cottage kerosene lamp.
 These lamps are incredible and blow the garden variety hurricane lamp away. They are about as bright as a thirty watt bulb. The light is golden yellow and very adequate for reading by. They are not quite so bright as an Aladdin kerosene lamp,  but are much less expensive and do not require the fragile and expensive aladdin mantle  they derive their light from a large flat wick arranged in a round burner
