We hung our new Kosmos cottage kerosene lamp.
![]() These lamps are incredible and blow the garden variety hurricane lamp away. They are about as bright as a thirty watt bulb. The light is golden yellow and very adequate for reading by. They are not quite so bright as an Aladdin kerosene lamp, ![]() but are much less expensive and do not require the fragile and expensive aladdin mantle ![]() they derive their light from a large flat wick arranged in a round burner ![]() Last edited by Baggywrinkle; 11-23-2008 at 04:37 AM. |
