A local newspaper reported that Iran was hit by an earthquake at 6.1 on the Richter scale.
The center was near an oil refinery. Could this be the work of HAARP now the attack from the Georgia bases was prevented by the Russians ? To my understanding (I forgot where I read it) Iran had no refineries themselves. Crude oil is being exported while they import refined oil from elsewhere. Since they would be vulnerable in the wake of a war I can imagine that they constructed refineries in the meantime. Otherwise would blocking the strait of Hormuz be sufficient to lock them out of fuel to sustain a war. But I didn't read it anywhere else yet so ... anyone else knowledgeable on this ? |
