Candid conversation about 2012 with my father

We were watching the History Channel and for some reason, my father asked me if I believed that anything was going to happen in 2012. I didn't realize he'd heard anything but he talked about the Mayans and planets aligning, etc.

I ended up mentioning disclosure and contacting other civilizations and he didn't dismiss the possibility, which is a bit eye-opening. We also talked about the moon landing. He thinks it was faked but I mentioned that we probably encountered beings there that didn't want us on the moon and that's why we haven't been back, etc.

It was a good, albeit short conversation. We tend to agree on a lot of things and it's nice to have that. I guess people aren't as sleepy as I thought, which is a big sigh of relief.
