When did this happen...?
![]() The province of Alberta kind of donated a lot of public assets to the private sector in its Klein-era privatization blitz. Then, the abrogation of public infrastructure to the private sector. Now it looks like we're doing it federally, too. I don't know if P3 is fantastic or *****y - it's just that shaazaam! here it is. I wonder if the name Canadian Council for PPP was picked so as to rival the Canada Council (for the Arts), or The Council of Canadians? Or, thanks to these guys, The Canadian Council of Chief Executives? - ![]() http://www.pppcouncil.ca/ Anyway, they're hiring: P3 Canada is a recently created federal Crown corporation with a mandate to develop the Canadian public-private partnerships (P3) market for public infrastructure. P3s are a long-term performance-based procurement approach which involves a significant element of private risk and finance. The Corporation is seeking outstanding professionals with direct experience advising or working with public and/or private sector organizations on the development and execution of P3 projects. http://www.rayberndtson.ca/index.php...&L=4&guid=8518 |
