im new introduction

hi everybody i didnt know where to post this so i thought i would put it here

ill start by saying i have followed avalon for a long time and always had great things to read while i visited

hi im stuart im 26 i come from aberdeen in scotland i guess i am here because i wanted to broaden my thoughts alot more than i do..i have always beleived in other life ufos aliens and the paranormal and that there was something diffirent about the world that not alot of folk see or talk about but never quite understood most of it myself till i came here

as for myself well i am an enigma wrapped in a puzzle my whole life i have belived that i am on this earth to protect something or someone and i have yet to find it and it is kind of frustrateing i know it sounds strange but thats how i feel and it is a very deep feeling i have a christian freind who says to me that i have the armour of god because i am such a protective and passionate person i would give up my life for a freind or family at the drop of a hat zero questions

but i guess what has made me come onto the forums is that quite recently my girlfreind and i broke up and at the end of the relationship i was very angry and even scared myself as i have never ever experianced that before *i think it was mainly the probems we were haveing that pushed me* but either way it made me step back and look at who i had become.

then i seen the post the gland awakening post and it got me researching and i started listening to sootheing medetation music and found myself drifting off to sleep but before hitting deep sleep it would feel almost like i was floating but i was so at peace it was a fantastic feeling and i started to wonder if this ws the kind of thing that i needed to straighten my mind out again and i think i was half right as since i started i have regained some of my control and confidance.

as i was a very very confident guy who had great ambition.

so all in all i think i am here to walk with the experianced of the world and learn what i can from them and use that knowlage to help me in life to find my place here

I often see myself as a celtic warrier woman,so I think I understand that a bit...(the protector spirit)

its the celtic in us, I beleive

you will learn alot here if you can sort what is truthful and rings with you....

Well done with the meditaion and grounding work. Its very difficult at first when we experience a breakup. It is the ego that causes the pain not the real you! When we find ourselves alone after a breakup our ego's go to work...usually things like self-worth, am I good enough, what did I do wrong, what did they do to me, and on it goes. We try to make sense of the situation and It can be hard to understand it all...However remember this is the ego at work, It survives on fear and fear alone!! We only ever experience two emotions, fear and love and they come in all forms. The analytical mind (when we try to make sense of all) fuels the ego which leads to dis-ease and we become this person that is not who we really are. You are a being of love and light and you are here to help understand yourself, who you really are, this is the same for all of us and our journeys continue...

all you need to do is to be of love and value to all. This is a major key to understanding soooo much.
I am proud of you that you are searching, looking for what is missing, you will look back on this and see the positive gifts you have learnt...well done my friend.

Welcome stuart, you are here because you were suppose to be here , We have a great Avalon Family here, the knowledge of the individuals here will take you many places and free your mind. there are also heated debates from time to time. But constructive. And then there are those of light, love and goodness who are an inspiration of where we need to be or are headed.

there are many who observe and never post and that is just as o.k. but once you make the first step on the avalon platform, fear seems to slowly slip away and hunger for what and where you are going seems to increase and thats a very good feeling.

It sounds as if you are being helped and blessed during this present difficult time. I have experienced at times that sense of peace and a feeling that 'everything is o.k.', when outwardly it is anything but that. We are never alone, and this Avalon family is part of that envelope of surrounding love. There is plenty of it here, as I think you will gather from the above posts.

thank you for the welcome everybody been a busy time for me since i joined but htiongs have calmed down slightly

i loved veiwing the forums as a non member and im sure i will have an even better time as a member

i suppose my first question is (because im new) is there any audiobooks or music that anyone can recomend i listen too that would be a good start point?
i have found that monk music has worked best for me the chanting is very peacfull its great (i say audiobook as i am very active in the world and find it difficult to sit down and read)

than kyou everyone once again i have a few life experiances i would love to share with you guys and get a wide opinion to those with such an open mind because of the nature of them not many people i know would understand
