Default coloidal silver may be banned

Comments to the EPA Regarding Regulating Nano Silver as a "Pesticide"

Deadline for Public Comments: Extended to March 20, 2009 (was January 20, 2009)
Extended Comment Period Revised Docket No. EPA-HQ-OPP-2008-0650-0506

The EPA - Environmental Protection Agency - has received a "citizens petition" asking the agency to regulate topical nano silver products as "pesticides." While this would directly apply to topical silver and not to silver as a dietary supplement, Natural Solutions Foundation is very concerned that this is another step toward banning the use of silver in health related areas. The FDA - Food and Drug Administration - has already forbade any health claims for ingested silver, although they have been unable to ban its availability as a dietary supplement without health claims. We are concerned that regulating topical silver would lead to regulating ingested silver as well.

We are also very concerned that a natural material, silver, that has been used for thousands of years to protect people from pathogens is about to be regulated out of availability. Even though silverware and silver plate has been used with food for millennia, with knowledge that the substance helped preserve food from harm, the EPA stands ready to ban or severely restrict more modern applications of silver to countertops and food containers, for example.

The source of this "citizens petition" is suspect as being part of the Big Pharma agenda which seeks to ban or restrict all natural competitors to drugs and toxic industrial products.

Silver products are quite distinct from the GMO or untested nano-particle products to which the Precautionary Principle should apply. Therefore, we urge you to send an appropriate message to the EPA

I bought some from Holland and Barrett, don't know its efficacy, but very expensive (£10). Now not available!!! Deffo shelf life required and safety if shipped overseas - ta. BTW! No advertising here I hope - just goodwill. Many many thanks

Here's what's on the top of the UK search engines at the moment

UK Colloidal Silver
www.UKColloidalSilver.co.uk
Nature's Secret to Health from £4.95 to £99.95

Colloidal Silver 10 P.P.M
www.Perfect-Shape.co.uk
From £12.71 Per 250ml Free Del Anti-Bacterial, Viral & Parasitic

True Colloidal Silver
www.ColloidalSilverOnline.co.uk
From £8.99 - Free Delivery - Direct from the UK's leading manufacturer

What's the best purest formulae without costing a fortune (links irrelevant as I don't want to promote any particular supplier via my research, any new links with pure reasonably-priced product welcome).

Any comments of any UK suppliers' efficacy/purity/value-for-money please?
Thanks

I just don't see why you don't make it yourself. That is highway robbery in my mind.

If you make it, it's not really banned. They may be banning it because they are making outrageous claims without backing. There seems to be a lot of that going around.

I am so scared of it going wrong - I'm not a bit scientific! Would LOVE to make my own safely....

With these types of products, the reason i trust rgarden
is because the owner, is using brain test, and, bio kinesiology in
every product he makes, also, all his product test
between 400-700 on the hawkins scale
which is quite high

the shelf life, is a pretty long expiry date
like the last batch i got was 03/2010

(i give the price at 15.00 to anyone, i know)
without them having to buy 12
and, i ship it anywhere in the world too
(except germany--the german customs reject things like this)

liquids are heavy - however, it generally will go in a light weight parcel

if you want some
contact me at workingwonders @ aol.com

thanks/susan

ps; when antletrinagle was very sick; i shipped him a bottle,
and, i think, it got rid of his cold/flu etc., real quick

ps; sure you can make your own,
but, if you do NOT know what you are doing - you can mess up; with a product like this
its all done for you

rgarden ship anywhere in the world, but, germany www.rgarden.net/workingwonders

With the financial issues and this another reason to hold some physical 999 silver bullion

I have a distiller and bob beck silver zapper so am able to make my own if need be...

Definitely seems 'they' are ramping up for something...

I can vouch for the Bob Beck type device. I don't think he restricted the use of his designs, so they're available. The units cost a little but they make making your own colloidal silver easy and cheap
