Hi, We are North Shore based. One of the biggest problems with the Auckland area would be the number of dormant volcanoes in the area, Another is having the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea on either side of the city should there be a major tsunami. Had wondered about the Motu area between Opotoki and Gisborne on the East Coast?
