I went to Radio Shack this weekend to buy a 13.5/30V , 10000mA power pack, but they did not have one so I purchased one that is 18/24V, also 10000mA, with a switch that allows me to choose 18 or 24. After reading all the posts on here, I'm thinking that this unit will not work. I don't understand voltage stuff, (female here, not my speciality).

I can return it for a full refund, & may search somewhere else for a 30V pack. Can someone please explain to me if this one 18/24 will produce a strong enough solution, or not. Also when I was considering buying the aligator clips, Radio Shack had them only in copper, so I did not buy them, as I was unsure about using copper?

I still have to buy the silver strips. Help.
