Hi Guys! I am new to this forum... so I was just reading through some of the threads and this one caught my attention.

Has any one heard anything (good or bad) about the new vaccine, gardisil? It's supposed to prevent certain types of cervical cancer. Last time I went to the gynecologist they were practically trying to force me to get it. When I told them "heck no"... I got a lecture about it.

A co-worker of mine has a friend who's daughter died from getting it. Along with several other girls. But the company who makes it wont claim that was the cause of death because 'it's still under investigation'.

I've heard that some states are trying to make it completely mandatory for all pre-teens to get this vaccination.
