Default Re: Don't Forget That Part Called Protect!

This is the third thread started using this incident in Ohio as fodder. It was NOT a SWAT team. Come on, guys, read the other threads. Let's stop playing boogyman. Sheesh. And, TBH, unless you grow your own food, you don't know for sure what you're getting, whether you get it from the store or from someone like Manna, who buys from others - and who knows for sure who the others got theirs from.

It's all great and dandy, on the web, to say that the search warrant looked suspicious - we have no way of knowing if it's the truth, or not, and it's one person's opinion. What made it suspicious? Was it printed on newsprint? Was it printed on a computer?

And are these people Amish? Is that why this has been brought into the story? Looks like these people were running a retail establishment without a license - wonder what else they could have been doing illegally, if they were willing to do that illegally? Say something was organic when it wasn't? See, the reasoning runs both ways - and that might well have been the question when the search warrant was issued.

The biggest way to protect yourself would be to grow your own food - even in a city. You can grow quite a bit on a patio using square foot gardening. Just don't try to sell it to someone else <G>.
