An honest person can honestly believe what he is told and honestly transmit what he honestly felt was veridic in essences so that more honest people may perceive the quality of the message through the honesty of the messenger, even though the messenger may have been duped through the qualities of his own honesty.
Because a truly honest character does not tend to challenge the origin and quality of an information, taking for granted that the source of the information must be honest.
A thief sees thieves everywhere, and an honest chap tends to give away the shovel's handle too easily.
