Did you know that ALL cattle in the Netherlands have big yellow earmarks in both ears already (incl. barcode) for years now ?
Maybe it's in whole Europe (I don't know).
In the Netherlands people like to number and ID everything ... even all lampposts have a unique number.
I know what it will lead up to .... so I left ...
They are fanatic in chipping as much as well: passports, public transportation, paid (toll) roads coming soon etc.
