Yes, some have suggested a microwave type high intensity heat source and other energy means may have attributed to an immediate curvature and nodule blistering of plants within some formations.
However, my thought was in the area of consistency and percentage of formations across countries in direct comparison to the number of formations in Britain.
As far as the NWO, I don't have a lot to say within this post other than what I've suggested already in my message above. Lot's of stuff is continually emerging, but what's the truth?

I first became aware of crop circles after my father-in-law gave me a copy of Andrew Collins "The Circlemakers" that he found on a railway station platform!
He is due to reissue an updated version of the book (some 15 years later) in January. May be worth a read; his ideas can be "out there" but are always thought provoking.
