Default Re: get ready for an earthquake in San Francisco

There is a widget from the USGS that you can set-up if you have an iGoogle homepage...I've been watching the earthquakes intensify in frequency and magnitude for the last two years around the world, especially around the ring of fire. The heaviest activity is in the area of Indonesia and the SW Pacific. Where there used to be many 3.0-4.0-5.0 quakes there are now 4.0-5.0-6.0+ taking place and also seeing them in some unusual places too. There have been also been numerous water main breaks all over Southern California, when there are usually only 3-4 a year.

So it appears the tension is building all over and its hard to say where it's going to hit next, or the hardest.
