the good news thread seems like a good place to share Lay Down Your Weapons. you can interpret this anyway you like, but just like everything, it is coming from somewhere else and very multi layered.
i wrote it to be spoken aloud, well, that is how i wrote it.
Lay down your weapons

the noise of the world is getting louder
WITHIN us all
our past is front and center
shall I say it?
It has never been hidden
It has never been hidden
our inner world is out there
can you FEEL that?
don’t you see that?
lay down your weapons
Give up those attitudes,
Give them up
please
to come clean with yourself
throw away your old pains
BURN
To release y.our
hate
these Actions will always cancel fate
lay down your weapons

now you can feel yourself remembering
re member ing
you are everything
as far as the I can see understand ing
there is no such thing
as separating you and me
don’t give up, keep on walking
the further you journey
the lighter you are BE coming
find your self,
find your self NOW
then come be with me in this moment
it is a gift for me
to be in your presence
