I don't know about Atlantis. However, Arthurian legends can be traced back to North Africa. Genetic line also to Berbers (say, Algeria), Moors, Iberian Peninsula, Basque region in Spain, through history to Wales, and whatnot, via Roman army > English against Irish.
All the knights. Christ almighty WTF. OK, Malta, Teutonic,,, but Arthur is first mentioned in a Welsh poem called Y Goddodin.
