The Kaballa is the writings of Jewish mystics. I have never associated Kaballa with the subject you mention. However, having said that, there are always those who try use the knowledge for selfish purposes. (I am not saying that anyone in Avalon does this.) But examples come to mind within other dogmatic disciplines.
