There is a fantastic author who has written and researched (and experienced herself) about NDE since 1978:

PMH Attwater.

She is based in Virginia and had lectured at the A.R.E. in Virginia Beach. Her books are well written. She gives some fascinating insights in her books. She cites several different "types" of NDE.

I have heard her speak and she is fascinating. Please take time to check out her work of many years.
