I'd hazzard a guess because they know most people will take your view and buy the toxic version HJ based on cost. I know how bad non organic is with the pesticides and potential GMO but with certain things like fats and meats it is more important to have pasture (grass) reared meat and organic fats. If the corn is organic it could still produce high omega 6 meat.

I now only use organic butter (although the cow may be corn fed) and tend to eat Lamb even if it isn't organic as I figure most lambs are reared in grass fields (I may be wrong) but it gets a better 3/6 omega ratio...

I wish we could get all the good stuff in Tesco's or Sainsbury's (UK shops) but it is annoying have to pay through the nose for things... wet milled Coconut oil is pretty expensive but after listen to a lady on one radio network who said taking two tables spoons a day it has turned around her husband (within hours it seemed) who has Alzheimers it has got my attention... its the MCT oils...
