I understand what you are saying and have full respect for what you belive.
Indeed the many books of religion contain much much wisdom. I think it is the process of having to give oneself to a particular religion, is where my problem lies. It tends to breed sectarianism and hatred. If more people actually practised what they(or more correctly, what their faith)preach, so to speak, the world would be a better place.
