I don't think they are contradictions:
"God dwells in chosen temples",2 Chron.; refers to the temple within each of us.
"God dwells not in temples",Acts 7:48 indicates that we won't find god in any external temples. Well not in this dimession anyway

Thank you for pointing that out, Initiate. I'm certainly no Bible expert. And those quotes were taken out of context only to illustrate the point. But maybe that underlines even better that seeming contradictions out of context can be used with different meaning than original intent. It seems sometimes one can find contradictions everywhere and also find truth. It seems it's all in how it's perceived or applied.
P.S. That would be an entire other discussion about where God dwells!
