If only money was just as a medium of exchange. Money as a commodity in its own right (eg when one currency traded against another) is daft. The real problems start when interest is charged on money that is itself nothing more than figures on a computer screen and when supply is kept well below demand (because it would be inflationary and therefore 'bad' if supply matched demand.)
So I'm being simplistic but the more people see money as the most massive con and control mechanism the freer we will be!
