Cool Re: Balance- interview ex-occult members

Indeed one should be wary of personalities or entities which inspire cultish behavior in general, this is a two way street after all, some are simply addicted to certain energies which at first provide an exhilirating rush of insight laced with just enough corrupting poison to escape undetected but keeps them coming back for more. The UFO/Conspiracy/Occult research community is full this ultimately lethal mixture of truth and lies. If you choose to drink the kool-aid, you must be prepared to accept the fact that not all is what it seems, both sides have unique perspectives. Independence should be the highest virtue, individuality should not be abolished not matter how interconnected and holistically entangled we are, however direct spiritual experience with the universe should be held sacred. Don't get too carried away with all the sound and the fury, don't read too much into certain things, follow your intuition and don't get cut off from your higher self.
