It's very important. I activate mine by closing my eyes and then looking at a point in the middle of my forehead. When I do, I immediately 'hear' a rush, like a quick gust of air, coming from the center of my brain. When activated, your pineal will seem like it's vibrating or pulsating. I don't pay attention to the sensation, I'm focused on the image on the screen in my mind.
Fluoride is a mineral which bonds chemically with the pineal, compromising it. Avoid all flouride, which unfortunately is in most tap water, sodas, toothpaste.
Also, do a search on this forum, there's a lot here on the pineal.
