Hi Chris and everyone, the ego as a young man I would be at bit angry at the slightest insult, in the ARMY fighting was a way of life. Now as I am getting older insults makes me laugh and I am a lot more patient and compassionate . Does this mean my ego is vanishing or is just hiding in some corner? Now my ego is tested all day long by my young children . The running around ,the yelling, the throwing of toys all around the house could drive anyone batty yet I often join in the madness and just learn to enjoy my kids. I am a strict Father because of my military background , although inside I am a huggie bear.
To be humble is something we have to work at everyday my kids are my teachers and I still have a long way to go.
