Default Re: Bankers Are Now Being Prosecuted!

Where have I heard this statement before?

A spokesperson for Bank of America called the charges "regrettable" and "totally without merit," adding that both Lewis and Price acted in good faith at all times and were "consistent with their legal and fiduciary obligations."

Oh yes. When they closed down my college "regrettably." Charges of fiduciary irresponsibility were "totally without merit, and the officers of RIT (in 1979 to 1991) were acting in "good faith at all times and were 'consistent with thier legal and fiduciary obligations." BULL-ONEY! I still contend those few bad men, who are now, thankfully, either gone or dead, stole 75 million bucks from my college for "stuff" happening in the Reagan administration in the 1980's. Guess for what it was boys and girls. ( I don't blame RIT for it--only the people who were in charge of RIT back then.) Oh, can I add Hill and Knowlton was somehow in the mix?

I also heard on a talk show a leader of the industry say he "fired" Bank of America, withdrew all his money out, paid up all the bills he could from them and got rid of them as a banking institution he used.

So did I a few days ago. It's called firing the 'Bushes' for fiscal irresponsibility toward your money. I suggest you all do the same--and if we do, we can close B of A's doors for good ourselves.
