Sketchers have a similar style trainer/sneaker selection out. I think comfortable walking shoes are essential especially on the hard concrete/tarmac/asphalt pavements that don't have any 'give' when you walk and with ridiculous fashion shoes, poor posture and poor strides but personally I'm not comfortable with the 'rocking' motion on this type of curved sole, it makes you feel like you're falling forwards especially when going downstairs but it's probably just adapting the way you walk to balance better. I wear my dance trainers for walking because they're better structured for my arches and have add a spring to the step, which helps remove pressure from the knees/ankles when walking. However, regardless of the shoes I'm wearing, I always try to put most of the pressure on the thighs and exercise the body in general when walking (without swinging my arms though ).
