There's a special story behind this video. I met Joe South when I was 14 years old, and not too many years later, was told that he had died. I just found out last week that he's as alive as you and I, so I had the experience of laughing and crying at the same time. Filled with joy to know he's 69 and aging beautifully, I wrote him a letter and am anticipating a response. His song is a message for us all.

You must have been in heaven meeting him at 14! What a great memory!

I always liked that song too.
