from this empty state...true love is rendered

it is so simple and yet the hardest task
to open your heart for all others to bask

not just your family...not just your friends
if you leave anyone out your light dead ends

laughter and compassion are the tools to this trade
return to the open heart if in judgment you've strayed

forgiveness and freedom are your trustworthy allies
they will return you to the center like a soothing lullabie

mistakes are bound to occur for we are all pupils on a path
the will of the most high is a will of love...not a will of wrath
