I have a very credible member of the scientific community as a sibling. He's an atheist and does not believe in UFO's etc. However he is a dowser. "Hmmm, so what is the scientific basis for this?", I ask him and he just shrugs.

He however thinks that Big Foot could be a reality, due to his experiences in deep wilderness, discovering three new smaller species of amphibians, and finding tracks that were illogical in the mud. OK...

Now if a UFO hit him on the noggin, I think he would believe in that too.
