First, don't worry about the automobile right now.

1. move goods around the country - bio powered steam technology?

2. shipping on rivers - off deisel- bio powered steam again

3. Heating - wood pellet heating as a transition to ???? But wood pellets right now and for the next few years.

4. Activated charcoal for water filtration- plant cost approx. $ 8 million for 300 tons/day production - product currently valued at $ 1800 / ton. Plant payback = 3 years.

5. carbon textile composite production - product value target $ 6363./ ton ($7/kg)

6.Centralized heat and power production from wood and organic waste.- target production cost for green system .16/kwh. This is higher than hydro and coal, but the power production can be mixed on the grid to yield an overall average rate around .09/kwh for retail consumption.

Willow - medicine plant and small container making material

Balsam bark - boiled in a tea for respiratory ailments (it works)- this to me is also "carbon."

After all, carbon is a building block of life.
