It is really unfortunate that there are threads like this thread in this forum, carrying on for six months, as it degrades the whole forum tremendously.

I seriously beg to differ, Kathy T.

Kevin’s thread gives him an opportunity to speak out about everything he feels has been inflicted on him. I believe he has this right. And I know that there is nothing I can do to remove him from this dismal situation but at least I can sympathize with him as well as pray and intend healing and comfort for him. Once you are in the system in Canada you will get the help you need but if you are unfortunate enough to fall between the cracks you won’t get any help here either.

I have learned a lot since I first became a member on this forum and I still have a long way to go. But Avalon doesn’t exist simply for research and study purposes. It‘s an opportunity for us to meet and exchange ideas and experiences. And yes, sometimes we joke around and sometimes we offer prayer and healing wishes for those who request them.

With sadness I have noticed that Project Avalon overall has diminished from the purpose it originally served, and member participation is getting lower and lower daily.

I see Avalon evolving not diminishing. A forum is not a rigid structure. It flows and bends one way or the other according to the varying content of the threads posted on it. Perhaps some of us want to enjoy the warm weather outdoors, do a bit of gardening or take holidays….wait till September and you’ll probably notice old friends returning.


Those who are serious in their research for viable or current information are likely finding it by studying other forums as well.

And why not! There’s a wealth of information on the web. Find it where you can! No one is locked into one particular site.
