Paddys Day when your young,
involves walkin up the town behind the local cement mixer lorry
or semi vintage tractor, in your gaelic football shorts
which offer no protection to the driving rain
or hailstones peltin off your legs,
to the sounds of a couple of tin whistle bands
belting out the same three tunes all the way round.
The weather was good this year,
so heres a couple songs for ye all,
for the day thats in it.
