Yes the forum seems a lot more tame these days.
I myself have not posted in a long time, so I don't know what direction this post will take.
My may concern is that promises of new interactive venues for members never has occurred. I know that volunteers have put much of their time into making this forum happen and I want to say here I appreciate all the effort by the many involved in making this forum happen.
I also have to mention that early in the forum's existence the forum was hijacked by certain "authorities" almost immediately, moving in to take advantage of the venue and sucking people out to their "better" venue where "they" could have control, while making hypocritical statements like "it is what it is". High minded statements like that always concern me,
Yes I know everyone is free to choose but there is something about that, that is disgusting! Maybe a good term would be ambulance chasers, or exploitation. I lost a lot of respect for them because of itr.
There are two groups in the forum. Those that live their lives virtually, and those that actually get out and press the flesh as they say. I try to ignore the virtual crowd because they can suck a person dry. In the meantime I've tried making so real non virtual headway and moved out west still seeking a community to become part of.
As far as B&K, I think B&K had no idea the wildcat that they had gotten their hands on. It happens so many times in business, when one bites off more than they can chew, which is what I think happened here. But I agree with Carol I would like to see at least a token expression of appreciation ....soon. If guilt is keeping them away, well many things can be forgiven, we all make mistakes. Let's hope we hear from them soon, as rejection in it's many forms is painful.
There is however one thing I would like to see more of. It is kind of like never getting out one's won back door to explore. There may be many people in the world to chat with, conventions in remote locations, and people to see etc... but it is my unbiased opinion that there is more research, interviews, and exploring to do right here in the states than anywhere else, and it's being ignored.
Now I'm really not being biased because I'm here in the states, I'm actually Scottish. But no one else in the world has spent as much money in black op budgets than right here in the states, or done more research, and has more unsolved mysteries to chase. So it is my opinion that B&K should pound the ground here more often, which would give them more opportunity to manage the whole effort. No criticism intended just business coaching.
So to move forward, here is John Moore's new blog site which is very inactive and may be more like what we were expecting here on the forum for information about surviving the times we live in.
http://www.ruralsurvival.info/ Not taking away from the efforts made here, just emphasizing the lack of B&K following through.
Unlike here, it has a "classified" section that is free. Since it is up and working, I suggest we all use it. It would be an excellent way for us to support each other (assuming we want to), And don't be paralyzed by fear of being "found out", "seen" etc.. because if you keep doing that they will soon just find you frozen in your tracks and take you away anyway.
And today it doesn't take much to be in that pot (just look at the report just leaked from the Missouri Highway Patrol), even Ron Paul is considered a terrorist now, along with Chuck Baldwin, etc. So it's too late to worry about that. It is time to get into action and make things happen and the classifieds at that site would be "doing" something. It's kind of like a Graigslist for survival....
About the Lakota bank project. It has not been going well in my opinion and so I haven't been able to recommend it. I had a long discussion with some folks about my concerns and it looks like they will be addressing them. So as soon as I see my concern fixed, I might be able to recommend using them in good conscious but in the mean time I can't. So again that is a good reason to go to JR's site.
Lastly I spoke with Larry Nichols recently. It is his opinion that we will loose three cities to drug dealers because he thinks they will literally take them over. The first being El Paso. He said at that the federal government plans after the fact to surround the city and keep them from taking any more control of land in the US. While the UN sends food into the cities hostages, the drug lords will be allowed great latitudes as poppy Bush still manages to make more money from the his age old drug trade.
Larry said we invaded Afghanistan because of the fear of them hurting people in America, same with Iraq, but he said please think for a second. Why are they not sending protection to the Mexico border where 8000 have been recently murdered, and a sheriff resigned when in 10 days 5 deputies were murdered by the cartel. Doesn't their silence to protect America's borders say something. He said the plans are in the works to see that happen by end of summer.
In the meantime keep me and mine in mind as we do our fancy camping in the mountains and we seek what direction to take.
