Default Re: Israel ready to launch a military offensive against Iran.

Hi alyscat,

Bush seemed to fade away because for the media there are other things more important at the moment to deal with.

The economy seems to be number one. As the banks and automakers are making waves, it makes good fodder for the media companies.

The stimulous plan is the biggest public spending plan in the historyof the US. This also deserves ample coverage, especially since it has split Congress.

Some cabinet members who had difficulty in paying their taxes.

A couple of aeroplane accidents, one on the Hudson and the other on a house which also took time in the media.

You also had the Superbowl, a famous 'rounders' (baseball) player who admitted to having his own type of stimulous package.

And here we are. Perhaps if Bush says something intelligent he may make the headlines, but let's face it, that's never going to happen!

Best regards,

Steve

OK, enough meandering with my thoughts.

TBH, I was surprised that Bush got out of the white house without starting a war with Iran. He seemed all poised to do so. Course, he may have been working (or his admin, or the neocons) to get Israel to do it for him... About the only failure that won't be laid at his feet will be the start of WWIII., which IMHO is a good thing!
