Remember, here in the US it is likely that most any canned or bottled soda or sports drink or energy drink will have been made with flouridated water.
I have a multi stage system on the tap and it makes really good water. I consider what the city does is more like pre- filtering as the cr@p I clean out of stage I is pretty intense. I have yet to find a good shower filter; I know that you absorb all that through your skin too.
