It's good to see people outside of the US seeing these reports, so you'll have compassion for how trapped we are. Insurance is a trillion dollar racket in this country. We are all being mugged at gunpoint. It's pretty sad that I have to choose not to visit doctors and emergency rooms whenever I am sick or injured, all because of this scam that is being forced on us. You should see the things many of us have to do in order to avoid a hospital visit: self-medication, set minor bone-breaks with homemade splints, use superglue to suture cuts... it's very sad to have to do this in an "advanced" nation in the 21st century. :( |
