John Denver has always been one of my favorite song writers and singer.

Way ahead of his time and his songs remain timeless

Mom loves JD so I grew up with his music. I still like to this very day. Thanks for posting this, I needed it , lol. Haven;t heard his music for awhile until now.

I love JD's music......have only a few "cassettes" of music left and they are JD's. Keep them in my car & play them when I'm on a road trip. They make my journey much nicer.

Mother Mudra--

Just discovered this gem of a thread buried too deep .... just had to resurrect!

I think many of us could use another shot of John Denver about now ...... he paints his oneness with nature so VIVIDLY ..... it's like being right there with him! in the mountains, in front of the campfire or fireplace, getting lost in the magic of the sky and the night, the sun and wind, the silence, the children.

we must ALL become little children in order to enter "the king-queendom of heaven."

you already know what an inspiration you are to me, so I won't harp on, but I do want to say how both insightful and apt those words are for Avalon right now. Indeed, a HUGE lesson right there. One to be heeded and remembered.
