Storms

All my life i have found myself attracted to storms...

Mother nature at her worst some say...

well i always saw it as Mother , at her best...

Winds.. gently skating across the top on calm waters...

Ripples in the water showing us the wind...

Wild winds twirling and blowing , trees bending, violent crashes...

Water....gentle sounds of the rain on a window...feel of cool rain on my face.....

Downpours, sheets of water falling straight down....

Lightning... Ahh my first real fear...learned to love its passion and its randomness..

To the point now where we seek it out..

Storm chasers some call us

*celine laughs and winks at Richard*

Snow... ahh this is one of my favorites...

As Mother covers herself with the gentle touch of a snowflake,
her landscapes change drasticaly.. the beings on the land alter their habits...

Life changes...and when snow falls in abundance,
even the cities can become quiet places...

One of my favorite things about storms is how it brings people together..

Ice storm in montreal 1998...such fond memories..

Between January 4th and 10th, 1998,
parts of Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec
were hit by 3 successive storm fronts
that have been called the greatest
natural disaster in Canadian history.
The storm's greatest impacts were profound and lengthy disruption
to daily life and far-reaching economic consequences.
The total precipitation, which fell as freezing rain, ice pellets and snow,
exceeded 73 mm in Kingston, 85 mm in Ottawa and 100 mm south of Montreal.
Canada's largest recorded ice storms, in Ottawa in December 1986 and Montreal in February 1961,
left 30 to 40 mm of ice.

This is one of the main hydro lines...all but 1 was down due to the storm..
some people were out of power for 4 weeks.

We lost A LOT of trees..

My Sweet Celine....

So, You were the one... manifesting those storms, damn girl, think of us pilot's.
You, think its fun bumping around on take off and landing... We like to be Fat and
happy... Don't spill my Jasmine Tea... It's the Top of the Morning...

See, I like smoooth skies... Oooh, those early morning flights are sooo Sweet...
Winds are OK... Gives me more time to be in the crab... FUN...

But, My Absolute FAVORITE is those middle of the Nite Flights.... ALL THOSE
STARS... and, their HUGE...

So, I'll remember you, when the windows are rattling... Hearing a LOUD Crack...
That Brilliant' White ribbon and Flash that goes from the surface to the clouds...
Rolling thunder is fantastic, But the Loud Cracks are pretty cool, tooo...

" I'll know Celine is up to her old Tricks, again..." Ruining some pilot's day...

Trooly,

Tango

Honey... If, I got you up there... showed you what to do with the controls...

You'd never want to come down... It's different when your at the controls...
THINK about it No Speed limit... (within reason) light as a feather... I'd have
you doing gentle turns... An easy wing over... A soft touch down on the ground,
remember, when you get above the storms that Celine makes its always Blue...
Smooth... Its a different perspective when your up front...

Trooly,

Tango
