The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concert 2009

At the 29th & 30th of October this year Madison Square Garden (NY) hosted the creme de la creme of 'rock'. Yesterday I saw a 4 hour excerpt of this concert on Dutch tv, - no commercial breaks! - & it was fan- f#ckin' tastic!!!

I heard absolutely fabulous versions of songs like 'Gimmie Shelter' (U2 & Mick Jagger), "Superstition' (Stevie Wonder & Jeff Beck), 'Sweet Jane' (Metalica & Lou Reed) 'Foxy Lady' (Jeff Beck & Bill 'ZZ Top' Gibbons) & countless other diamonds of rock/r&b/soul music.

If you get a chance to watch it, DO!!!
It will blow you away!

What no replies? This WAS a fantastic concert. I saw the 4 hour version on HBO. Amazingly good. My DVR is full and I need to get this copied over to some other media. Truly worth seeing and keeping.

:band:
It is, isn't it?!
I've never seen anything like this.
:jawdrop:
Lou Reed sings like he did in his 'Rock 'n Roll Animal' days,
mind you,
with a smile on his face!
:yikes: :biggrin2: :D:
